Narrative
description of project:

|
As part
of a large water component within the Lake Mburo Resettlement
Project WE Consult was asked to carry out the feasibility,
design and supervision of the implementation of the
drinking water supply for Kanyaryeru trading center.
The source of the water supply is a low-yielding borehole
that supplies the water to one central distribution
point. A topographic
survey as carried out and used as input for the
hydraulic designs of the schemes. Socio-economic information
was collected as a basis for the proposals for software
activity plans. Tender
documents, technical specifications, Bills of Quantities
and drawings were developed

of topographic profile along the pipe line
- Development
of hydraulic design, taking the technical criteria
and cost effectiveness into consideration;
- Preparation
of BOQ and costing of the supply
- Preparation
of materials requirement list;
- Preparation
and production of comprehensive project document.
