The project aimed
to set-up a georeferenced database of all condom service
outlets in four districts in Uganda in order to assist
the study called “Measuring access and Performance – Monitoring
the PSI rural condom distribution strategy” under
the Ugandan Government marketing Program. The following
questions were answered:
- What is the level of coverage and quality of coverage
of the social marketing condom delivery system and
the change over time
- What are the proportions of outlets in rural areas
that carry condoms
- What is the level of access of the population to
social marketing delivery points
