description of project: |
| The
Project for Sustainable Water Supply, Sanitation and
Hygiene Promotion in Zambézia Province in the
Republic of Mozambique covers four districts. WE Consult
was requested to conduct an initial baseline in more
than 200 communities, covering 91 water points, and
a detailed baseline study in 30 communities. This latter
work had two parts:
1. Baseline survey in thirty communities covering water
supply, sanitation and Hygiene at household level
2. Sanitation and Hygiene practices in twenty schools
(Knowledge, Attitude and Practises - KAP survey)
The methodology was designed by the JICA project team
and implemented by the Consultant. Three teams were
trained and mobilized to undertake the field work. The
data was entered in electronic format and analysed.
A comprehensive report in both English and Portuguese
was produced. As integrated part of the works, SPSS
