Narrative
description of project:
|
|
This rural
development project concerned the siting and drilling
supervision of 25 boreholes in Kityerera s/c, Iganga
District (undifferentiated Basement [gneisses and granites])
and 15 boreholes in Bulesa s/c in Bugiri District (metavolcanics).
The inception phase started by the end of March 1999,
while the last borehole was test-pumped in November
1999.

API, hydrogeological reconnaissance surveys and planning
of geophysical siting phase

Execution of sitings through resistivity
profiles and soundings in 40 villages, interpretation
of measurements and selection of drill sites

Supervision of drilling and test-pumping
of 40 sites
·
Final reporting,
comprehensive analysis of all obtained results
including recommendations for future drilling exercises
