Narrative description of project:

WE Consult as a sub consultant to DHV Water B.V. carried out all hydrogeological and geophysical investigations in Hoima and Mubende. In addition a groundwater and surface water monitoring networks was set up in all three towns. For the preparation and evaluation of tender documents and the drilling contract supervision, comprising drilling, test-pumping and well logging of 18 production holes in Hoima and 20 production holes in Mubende, WE Consult was contracted directly by DWD.

 

Description of services provided by your staff:

  • Collection and analysis of all available relevant hydrogeological information, including rainfall and evaporation data, borehole data and water samples from existing sources. All data analysed with GIS.
  • Geophysical investigations
  • Design and implementation of surface and groundwater monitoring networks
  • Preparation tender documents for drilling contractors
  • Evaluation of tender documents
  • Drilling, test pumping and well logging supervision
  • Presentation of results through siting and inception report, borehole completion reports and a final report.
