Narrative
description of project:

WE-Consult was contracted to carry
out a groundwater resources assessment through detailed
geophysical investigations using a combination of EM
profiling and resistivity soundings for the water supply
of Bulyanhulu Gold Mine. The anticipated total water
demand for the Mine is 80 m3/hr. A total
of 23.8 km of profiling was carried out as well as 53
soundings over an area of 4.5 km2. Of the
boreholes drilled on recommended sites, four boreholes
were pump-tested. The analyses were carried out by WE-Consult.
